Dear IRC Friends,
This year we celebrated 25 years of providing analysis, advocacy,
activism, and agenda setting--and changed our name (from
Interhemispheric Resource Center). The IRC has become the first-stop
resource for thousands of activists, policymakers, and opinion leaders
alike.
However, our survival over the years has come from several foundations
and a few incredible individuals. Because the climate for giving to
worthwhile causes is so overwhelmed, the IRC is searching for
innovative ways to increase its individual donor participation.
We offer these options for your consideration.
Holiday Gift pledge for a friend or family member. One of the most
thoughtful gift-giving ideas we've heard of--and it's tax-deductible.
As you think of those last-minute gifts you need to find, a Holiday
Gift pledge to the IRC in Grandma's name is a worthy consideration.

Sustaining Member. Consider making a pledge to the IRC every year for
the next 5, 10, or even 25 years, if you believe in our mission to help
make the U.S. a more responsible partner in the world community.

Stock Options. This option is an attractive element of year-end tax
planning, particularly if you are thinking of unloading a stock that is
no longer working for you, but are hesitant because of capital gains
tax. You may ask your broker to arrange this donation, or we can put
you in touch with one who will be glad to assist you. Please contact
nancy at irc-online.org, who will be happy to facilitate this process.

Please help the IRC be a viable voice for change by pledging financial
support. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Debra Preusch
Executive Director
I like the fact-based nature of the materials and the arguments. I
also really like that the IRC doesnt pull its punches to cover some
favored politician or individual. This is solid, reliable evidence and
argumentation that I can rely on. -Bruce Nissan
